@amcpherson google is showing us how it’s done with android and intel is definitely not paying attention

@amcpherson …and cedes community dev (and its rewards) to the LF. Great for LF, bad for Intel. The community wins either way

@amcpherson doesn’t go against linux community, but it’s not beneficial to intel. intel waves the white flag and admits they have no idea

@amcpherson Intel could have handled the project the “right way” and gotten loads of good PR for it. see, eg. @cdibona ‘s group

@amcpherson it was their one shot at community glory and they’re giving that up. from community perspective, I don’t see an advantage
